Developed itineraries for road and off-road vehicles on forest tracks that do not present any particular technical difficulties, but the differences in height to be addressed both on road and off-road are suitable for people with a minimum of training.

Program

1 Day: Arrival in Catania and transfer to a mountain hut (Etna south) at an altitude of 1700. Presentation of the tour, dinner and overnight.

2 Day: Etna mountain trail. Km 5 + 37 * (disl.tot. Mt.607). Excursion in Etna Park Rif.Sapienza Track and altitude from south to north through the highest active volcano in Europe. Accommodation and dinner in the hotel at the park of Linguaglossa.

3 Day: Pinewood of Linguaglossa – Randazzo. Km. 48 + 12 * (disl.tot.mt 712). 2nd hike in dell’Etna.Visita Park apparatus eruption of 2002 (lava, craters and volcanic bombs) continued to Randazzo medieval city. Accommodation in hotel and dinner.

4 Day: Randazzo – Floresta – Randazzo. Km. 4 + 35 * (disl.tot.mt 608) 1st Excursion in the “Nebrodi Park.” From Randazzo to Floresta, that with its 1275 mt. s.l.m. It is the highest town in Sicily. The cheese produced here are famous all over the island. Return to the hotel in Randazzo and dinner.

5 Day: Randazzo – Lake Trearie-Maniace -Randazzo km 26 + 36 * (disl.tot. 680 mt). The 2nd tours in Nebrodi Park through woods and high-altitude pastures. A visit to the castle of Maniace ‘Admiral Horatio Nelson. Randazzo return to hotel and dinner.

6 Day: Randazzo Giardini-Naxos Km. 48 (disl.tot.mt 230). Through one of the best production areas for wines of Etna. Opportunity to taste at a farming estate, wines d.o.c. and local gastronomic specialties.

7 Day: Giardini-Naxos- Gorges dell’Alcantara- Monti Peloritani- -Gardens Taormina-Naxos km 49 + 7 * (hm. Tot. Mt in 1228). Hike in the River Park dell’Alcantara. Visit of the spectacular “Gorges.” In Taormina across the street of Peloritani.

8 Day: Breakfast. Departure to Catania and end of our services.
