Program

Day 1 – Catania
Arrival at Catania’s airport, trasfer to Siracusa and accomodation in the designeted hotel.

Day 2 – Siracusa
Breakfast and visit of Syracuse and of the beautiful Ortigia soul of Syracuse, between Greek Christian churches temples, palaces Swabians, Aragonese and Baroque courtyards, Arab alleys, shops and large public buildings. Free lunch and then visit the monumental park of the Neapolis, with the Roman amphitheater, the Greek Theatre, the Ear of Dionysius. Return to hotel.

 Day 3– Noto – Marzarmemi
Breakfast and departure to Noto. Visit the capital city of Sicilian Baroque, where you can admire the Cathedral recently restored and its important cultural and religious traditions. Free lunch and departure for the visit of Marzamemi, an ancient and picturesque fishing village. Return to hotel .

Day 4 – Modica -Scicli
Breakfast and departure for visiting Modica, called the lace town due to the incredible richness of the decorations of civil and religious buildings. After “climbing” the 250 steps leading to the church of San Giorgio, you can restore in a typical cake’s shop downtown. In fact, the town has a long tradition in the processing of chocolate and other specialties . Free lunch and departure to Scicli where once you arrive, you will recognize immediately the Town Hall (the Vigata police station). Return to hotel.

Day 5 – Ragusa Ibla – Donnafugata
Breakfast and departure to visit Ragusa, jewel of Sicilian Baroque, through the narrow streets leading to the Cathedral of St. George. Free lunch and departure to visit the Castle of Donnafugata. Back at the hotel stop at Punta secca beach for a pleasant surprise. Return to hotel .

Day 6 – Caltagirone – Piazza Armerina
Breakfast and departure to visit Caltagirone, a city of aristocratic Baroque profile ceramics, famous for its ceramics, and renowned throughout the world for the production of ceramics. Free lunch and departure to Piazza Armerina to visit the Villa Romana del Casale and universally known, one of the most important archaeological discoveries of Sicily. Return to the hotel.

Day 7  Taormina – Riviera dei Ciclopi
Breakfast and departure for the visit of Taormina, the island’s main tourist center. Free lunch and departure for the Riviera of the Cyclops, to admire Acireale and its historic center, Aci Trezza and the enormous lava rocks rising from the water, made famous by the legend of Odysseus and Polyphemus. Return to hotel.

Day 8 – Catania
Breakfast and transfer to Catania’s airport. 

Quote per person for a minimum of two partecipants.

The price includes: Accommodation in 3 star hotels with breakfast. Cars with driver for 8 hours a day. Board and driver accommodation. Journey maximum daily Km 250. Fuel and tolls.

Important to know: The tour could be tailored in its itinerary, services and in the number of days. For organized tours during the high season, in case of cancellation by the customer, it will be charged the amount due to the hotels that ask for immediate payment at confirmation. Days of arrival and departure are provided only transfers to and from hotel.
