Program

1° Day: Arrival at the farmhouse. Before dinner meeting with our guide. Dinner and overnight.

2 Day: Breakfast and departure on horseback for the village of San Mauro Castelverde. Continuing along a mountain path, you will arrive at a Masseria for a tasting of typical products and dairy or lunch bag. In the afternoon, continue the hike along mountain paths up to Pettineo. Return to the farm for dinner and overnight at the farmhouse.

3° Day: Breakfast and departure for Tusa Marina where, depending on the weather, you can make a stop to swim in the sea. Restart on horseback for a grilled meat between the peaks and the park trails. Continue to Castelbuono. Dinner and overnight at the farmhouse.

4° Day: Breakfast and departure for Zurrica district located in Sant’Anastasia (Castelbuono). Walk along an old dirt road country from which you can observe a beautiful view overlooking the sea and the Madonie. Continue through the vineyards medieval Abbey of St. Anastasia, until you get to a path ahead galloped for about 2 km. Lunch during the excursion. Return to the farm for dinner and overnight at the farmhouse.

5° Day: Breakfast and departure through country paths that pass by ancient olive trees, almond trees, and herds of grazing animals, it arrives on a hill that marks the four boundaries (Finaite) of the municipalities of Castelbuono, Isnello, Cefalù and Pollina. From the highest peak of Four Finaite you can see the sea, and on clear days, the Aeolian Islands peep. Lunch during the excursion. Return to the farm for dinner and overnight at the farmhouse.

6° Day: Breakfast and departure to reach the hill above Cefalu, through centuries-old oak trees, producing coolness and scents. From the hill you can admire a magnificent panorama of the sea, the Rock of Cefalu, to the town’s picturesque harbor. Continuing you cross an ancient forest of cork oaks. Lunch during the excursion. Return to the farm for dinner and overnight at the farmhouse.

7° Day: Breakfast and departure through the country lanes through old farmhouses and old mills, reaching olive groves and Frassineti of the Valdemone area. The walk ends with a visit to the famous Gole di Tiberio (Miricolo), ancient geological formations. The route gives the opportunity to meet and enjoy the features atmosphere of the Sicilian countryside with its colors and its rural traditions. Lunch during the excursion. Return to the farm for dinner and overnight at the farmhouse.

8° Day: Breakfast and end of our services. Departure.

The price includes: Farmhouse accommodations in a standard room, full board with breakfast and dinner at the farmhouse. Packed lunches or farm. Preparation of the horses. Horse driving.
