Program

Saturday : Sicilian Eastern coast. Arrival and accommodation at the hotel resort planned, in Eastern Sicily. Before dinner meeting with our guide. Welcome cocktail and presentation of the tour.

Sunday: Syracuse and Noto. After breakfast, depart to Syracuse and visit the historic center of Ortigia with the Temple of Minerva, and the Fountain of Arethusa; to follow the Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Latomie and Ear of Dionysius. Free lunch. Afternoon drive to Noto and walk in the center and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Monday: Catania and Cefalu. Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Catania and walk in its historic center. Free time. Continue to Cefalu, free lunch. Free time for visiting the town. Departure to Western Area. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

Tuesday: Palermo and Monreale. Breakfast in the hotel and visit the historic center of Palermo, the Duomo and Cloister of Monreale. Free lunch. free time to spend in the historical center. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

Wensday: Erice e Selinunte. Breakfast and departure to Erice where we will visit the town. Continue to Marsala and tasting of typical products in a winery. Free lunch. Visit of Selinunte archaeological area. At the end departure to Agrigento, accommodation in hotel and dinner.

Thursday: Agrigento and Piazza Armerina. Breakfast at the hotel and visit of the Valley of the Temples. Free lunch. We will continue to Piazza Armerina to visit the Villa Romana del Casale, famous for its mosaics. We will continue going East with our bus. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

Friday: Etna and Taormina. Breakfast at hotel and departure for the visit with Etna climb by bus up to 1900 meters. Possibility of excursion (surcharge) in 4×4 buses and licensed guide for the visit of the main craters. Free lunch. In the afternoon visit of Taormina and Greek Theatre. Free time. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight staying.

Saturday: Sicilian East coast. Breakfast at the hotel and end of our services.

The price includes: Accommodation in 3 star hotels. Bus Gran Turismo and group leader / regional guide (multilingual on request) from the evening of Saturday to dinner on Friday. welcome cocktail. Half-board (breakfast and dinner at the Hotel). Drinks: 1/4 lt. of wine and 1/2 lt. at dinner mineral water. Visit and tasting at a winery.

The price does not include: Roundtrip transportation from the place of origin. Transfer start / end tour for the tour only formula. Admissions where required to monuments, museums, galleries and public and private archaeological sites. For state sites it is valid for the current ministerial decree. Any local taxes and residence tourist tax. Anything not expressly mentioned under “the price includes.

Registration: insurance cancellation policy included, € 30 for person. Supplements: single room euro 150.

Reduction: Third/fourth bed 30% less.

Book in advance: 5% discount for booking up to 30 days before departure (confirmed with paid payment).

Important to know: the cost of the tickets provided in the tour with payment at the site it’s aproximaately of 66 €. Supplement Etna excursion up to 1900 meters (at choice), payment at the site. Hotels and places for overnight staying will be comunicated 7 days before departure . Possible hotel or similar accomodation: Hotel Tonic – Hotel Casena dei Colli – Hotel Tre Torri.
